Faeren’s Florals was created from a lifelong connection to flowers, art, and the quiet beauty of working with nature. My background spans over thirteen years in horticulture and greenhouse environments, where I developed a deep appreciation for seasonality, structure, and the natural rhythms that guide thoughtful design. I later refined my floral practice through formal training at the Canadian Institute of Floral Design.

Flowers have always been more than a medium to me — they have been a form of creative expression. Long before floral design became my profession, I was cutting stems from my own gardens, experimenting with movement and composition, and creating arrangements intuitively. That draw toward creativity has shaped my entire life, from taking every art class available to me in high school to studying at OCAD University, where my artistic perspective continued to evolve.

Much of my creative foundation was influenced by my grandmother, who instilled in me a love for both gardening and making things by hand. Summers spent on Manitoulin Island were filled with time in her gardens — picking beans and tomatoes, weeding beds, and learning the value of patience and care. Those experiences continue to inform my approach to floral design today, grounding each piece in intention and respect for the natural world.

Based in Kawartha Lakes, I bring a modern garden aesthetic to every project — romantic, sculptural, and slightly wild. I approach each arrangement with calm confidence and thoughtful care, creating designs that reflect the people and stories behind them. While Kawartha Lakes is home, I’m always excited to travel, bringing artful, personalized florals to weddings, events, and spaces near and far. Each arrangement is crafted to feel personal, elevated, and timeless.
